Privacy Policy

Effective Date: March 21, 2026

CashBack Invest Global is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you use the CBIG Platform.

1. Introduction

CashBack Invest Global ("CBIG," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website at cashbackinvestglobal.com, use our mobile application, or engage with any of our services (collectively, the "Platform").

This Policy applies to all users of the Platform, including consumers who earn and invest Cashback Rewards, partner merchants, and visitors who have not yet registered. By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Policy, please do not access the Platform.

CBIG is currently in a pre-launch pilot phase. During this phase, certain features described herein may not yet be fully operational. We are committed to transparency about our data practices at every stage of development.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, information we collect automatically when you use the Platform, and information from third-party sources.

Information You Provide Directly

When you register for an account, you provide us with your name, email address, and authentication credentials. When you complete your profile, you may provide additional information such as your country of residence and preferred currency. When you apply to become a Partner Merchant, you provide your business name, industry category, website or physical location, estimated monthly transaction volume, and primary contact details. When you communicate with us via email or support channels, we retain the content of those communications.

Information Collected Automatically

When you access the Platform, we automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and device identifiers. We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect this information. You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences; however, disabling certain cookies may affect Platform functionality.

Transaction and Financial Information

As part of the Cashback Rewards program, we collect records of qualifying purchase transactions made with Partner Merchants, including transaction amounts, dates, merchant identifiers, and the corresponding Cashback Reward amounts. We record the allocation and status of your Cashback Rewards balance. We do not collect or store your payment card numbers, bank account details, or other sensitive financial credentials directly — these are handled by our payment processing partners under their own privacy policies.

Referral Program Information

If you participate in our referral program, we collect your unique referral code, the identities of users you have referred, and the Cashback Rewards or promotional credits associated with those referrals.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

Platform Operation and Service Delivery. We use your information to create and manage your account, process and credit Cashback Rewards to your account, facilitate the collective investment of pooled Cashback Rewards (subject to the 30-day withdrawal lock applicable under our Reserve-Less Dynamic Offset model), communicate with you about your account and transactions, and provide customer support.

Communications. With your consent where required by law, we use your email address to send you transactional notifications (account activity, Cashback Reward credits, investment updates), our weekly newsletter featuring curated content about the cashback and micro-investing industries, and promotional communications about new features, Partner Merchants, and platform milestones. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any email or by contacting us at [email protected].

Analytics and Platform Improvement. We use aggregated and anonymised data to analyse usage patterns, measure the effectiveness of our features, identify and fix technical issues, and develop new products and services. We use analytics tools including our own first-party analytics infrastructure to understand how users interact with the Platform.

Legal Compliance and Fraud Prevention. We use your information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, respond to legal process and government requests, enforce our Terms of Service, detect and prevent fraudulent transactions, and protect the rights, property, and safety of CBIG, our users, and the public.

Merchant Partner Management. If you have submitted a merchant application, we use the information provided to evaluate your application, communicate with you regarding your application status, and, if approved, to administer the merchant partnership relationship.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We share your information only in the following circumstances:

Service Providers. We share information with third-party vendors and service providers who perform services on our behalf, including cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, email delivery services, analytics providers, payment processors, and customer support tools. These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only as directed by us and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Partner Merchants. We share limited transaction data with Partner Merchants to facilitate the processing of Cashback Rewards. This includes confirmation that a qualifying transaction occurred and the corresponding reward amount; we do not share your full account profile with merchants.

Business Transfers. If CBIG is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganisation, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and a prominent notice on the Platform before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Legal Requirements. We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

With Your Consent. We may share your information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Platform's services. If you close your account, we will retain your information for a period of five (5) years following account closure to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Transaction records may be retained for longer periods as required by applicable financial regulations.

Anonymised and aggregated data derived from your information may be retained indefinitely for analytical and research purposes, as such data cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit using TLS/HTTPS, access controls and authentication requirements for our systems, regular security assessments and monitoring, and employee training on data protection practices.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Withdrawal of Consent. Where we process your information based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and the California Privacy Rights Act, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal information), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
